Let’s go to the discovery of Mazarin and his castle. Mazzarino is a small town unknown to many, in the province of Caltanissetta. It was built under the Normans and the urban center experienced an important expansion between the 16th and 17th centuries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The historic center is really very nice and picturesque. The main monuments are the churches, many of which were built<\/strong> With the beautiful baroque style<\/strong>. All you have to do is walk down Corso Vittorio Emanuele II<\/strong> to admire the town’s monuments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curiosity:<\/strong> In the month of June there is a historical seventeenth-century parade, with medieval costumes “The seventeenth century at the Carafa court”. During the parade the marriage between Prince Carlo Maria Carafa and Isabella d’Avalos is simulated, an event that really happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
